Cinematography: Practical task
Cinematography: Practical task
Create a one minute cinematography video that illustrates the main types of camera shot, angles and movement that we learned in the lesson on cinematography.
A Brief Explanation of my work:
In my one-minute cinematography video, I demonstrate various camera shots, angles, and movements to capture a journey through Greenford, specifically focusing on Brunel Block. The video opens with a tracking shot as I walk, establishing the setting with a rain effect and the title “Welcome to Greenford.” The camera shifts to a POV shot, where I pan left to right, adding a sense of exploration. The video zooms into Brunel Block, where the effect changes to a black flash, and the title updates to “Brunel Block.” Inside, I include a tilt-up POV shot, a close-up of a wall poster, and a tracking shot as I climb the stairs, building suspense. The video concludes with a zoomed-in shot of a “No Phones Allowed” sign.
